Mike Tovey

Mike Tovey has extensive experience in finance and accounting, notably serving as Manager of Fuel & Purchased Power Accounting at NV Energy from 2008 until retirement in July 2016. In this role, Mike was responsible for managing settlements and accounting for $1.5 billion in net expenses related to natural gas, coal, and purchased power, while also overseeing a team of ten employees and serving as a regulatory witness. Prior to NV Energy, Mike held senior managerial positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and GPU, focusing on corporate budgets. Mike holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago and a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. Following retirement, Mike relocated to be closer to family and is open to consulting opportunities.
