Sean Spitzer

Sean Spitzer has extensive experience in the energy and environmental sectors, currently serving as the Director of Renewable Energy & Origination at NV Energy since February 2016, where previous roles included Sr. Project Manager, Environmental Services Supervisor, and Sr. Environmental Advisor. Prior to NV Energy, Spitzer worked at GE as an EHS Specialist from December 2012 to February 2016 and held the position of Environmental Engineer at NV Energy from January 2011 to December 2012. Early career experience includes a Health and Safety Internship at NV Energy and a role as Senior Lead Chemist at Clean Harbors. Spitzer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from California State University, Chico.
