Stephen Cole, P.E. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Distribution Standards Engineer at NV Energy since June 2008, Stephen has played a pivotal role in special projects and was the Technical Team Lead for the company’s first Distribution Automation project. Prior to this, Stephen worked as a Senior Distribution Planning Engineer, providing critical engineering planning services and analysis for distribution system expansion in Southern Nevada. Stephen's career began in the audio engineering field, where a successful self-employed venture was managed in New Orleans from 1995 to 2002. Additionally, Stephen gained valuable experience as a Distribution System Planning and Operations Engineer at Entergy from 1986 to 1995. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans, obtained between 1981 and 1985.
