Tony Sanchez

Tony Sanchez has been with NV Energy since February 1998, where they are currently the EVP of Business Development & External Relations. Prior to joining NV Energy, Tony was an Assistant General Counsel with the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada from January 1995 to February 1998. Tony then became a Partner at Jones Vargas Law Firm from January 1999 to July 2007. From February 1998 to January 1999, Tony was the Executive Assistant to Nevada Governor Bob Miller. Before that, Tony served as Associate Legislative Counsel to United States Senator Richard H. Bryan from January 1992 to January 1995.

Tony Sanchez received their Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University College of Law. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Tony also holds a High School Diploma from Valley High School.

They are on a team with Michael Cole - VP & CFO, Jeff Brigger - Director, Business Development, and Jennifer Oswald - SVP, Human Resources & Corporate Services. Tony Sanchez reports to Doug Cannon, President & CEO.
