David Renfrew

David Renfrew, CPSWQ, QISP ToR, QSD/QSP, currently serves as Vice President of Water Resources at NV5, a position held since March 2014 following the acquisition of Alta Environmental, where Renfrew was also Vice President and NPDES Practice Leader. With extensive experience in water resources management, Renfrew has previously held roles such as Water Resources Director at Alta Environmental and Project Manager at Weston Solutions, Inc., where responsibilities included municipal client contracts and industrial permit support. Early career experience includes managing an environmental testing laboratory at EnviroMatrix Analytical, Inc., working as a hydrogeologist at Hargis + Associates, Inc., and serving as an Aviation Electronics Technician in the U.S. Coast Guard. Renfrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology with an emphasis in hydrogeology from San Diego State University.
