Greg Hymel

Greg Hymel, GISP, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and account management. Currently serving as a Senior Account Executive at NV5 since July 2022, Greg previously held roles as Account Executive at Axim Geospatial and GIS Director at the City of New Orleans, where significant initiatives were developed including citywide GIS vision and collaboration with various departments. Greg's earlier experience includes Vice President at Geographic Computer Technologies, LLC, where expertise in database modeling and enterprise GIS design was demonstrated, along with management of custom GIS solutions for over 30 clients. Greg's foundational career started as a GIS Specialist at Gulf Coast Aerial Mapping and as a Graduate Assistant at the University of New Orleans, supported by dual degrees in Geography from the same institution. Notably, Greg was recognized with the Mayor's Outstanding Employee Award in 2014 for exceptional contributions to the City of New Orleans.
