Tooba Azhar

Tooba Azhar is an Intermediate Accountant at NVA Canada since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Bell Technical Solutions as a Financial Analysis Coordinator from July 2021 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for reporting and analytical activities of the Cabling division, preparing profitability reports, investigating variances, and preparing monthly KPI reports/scorecards.

From February 2019 to March 2021, Tooba worked at Green and Spiegel as a Junior Accountant. Tooba'sresponsibilities included managing the full Accounts Payable cycle, processing invoices for payment, and preparing financial reports for lawyers and partners of the firm.

As a Research Assistant at the University of Guelph from April 2018 to August 2018, Tooba gained research experience.

Tooba also worked as a Finance and Accounting Intern at PANDORA from May 2017 to August 2017. Tooba'sresponsibilities included reviewing and entering purchase invoices, assisting with payment runs and bank reconciliations, and assembling data for reports on revenue.

Tooba also worked at PANDORA as a Returns Associate from May 2015 to December 2016. Tooba'sduties included assessing damaged items, verifying returned products, and providing product and service information to customers.

Tooba's earliest work experience was at Sobeys, where they worked as a Cashier/Supervisor from June 2012 to January 2015. Tooba'sresponsibilities included processing sales transactions and supervising front-end employees.

Overall, Tooba has gained expertise in accounting, financial analysis, research, and customer service through their various roles in the finance and retail sectors.

Tooba Azhar pursued their education in a chronological order starting from 2011. Tooba attended McMaster University from 2011 to 2013, majoring in Life Sciences for two years. Following that, they pursued a Diploma in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources at McMaster University from 2013 to 2015.

To further their education, Tooba Azhar then enrolled at the University of Guelph from 2015 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Accounting.

In terms of additional certifications, Tooba Azhar acquired an Income Tax Level I certification from H&R Block in December 2019.
