Kjetil Lund

Kjetil Lund is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership positions across various organizations. As the Director at NVE since April 2019, Lund has also contributed to Norges Bank as a member of the Supervisory Council since January 2016. Previously, Lund served as a Byråd responsible for business and ownership in Oslo kommune from December 2017 to February 2019, and held key roles at Ruter AS and Statkraft, including Senior Vice President for Public Affairs and Climate Policies. Other significant roles include State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance from October 2009 to October 2013, and Head of Secretariat to the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy on Climate Change at the World Bank Group. Lund’s educational background features a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Bergen, along with studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Universidad de Salamanca.
