Diego Castaneda

Diego Castaneda has three years of professional experience. In 2021, they joined nVenue as a Software Engineer II and Software Engineer I. Prior to that, in 2020, they worked as an Investment Associate Analyst at Travelers, where they were a member of a 40-person investment team overseeing security selection and portfolio construction for a $75 billion fund across corporates, structured products, and municipals. In 2019, they worked as a Markets Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan, where they modeled the performance of short gamma strategies by coding a program in Python, constructed a tool in Python that computed the expected carry of multi derivatives strategies, and shadowed traders in the rates options desk.

Diego Castaneda completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Computational Mathematics & Statistics and Economics from the University of Notre Dame in 2020. Diego then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
