Alexey Romanenko is an experienced HPC senior software engineer at NVIDIA since June 2012, where responsibilities include supervising developers in adopting complex algorithms to GPUs. Previously, from September 1999 to June 2012, Alexey served as the Head of the IT Division at Novosibirsk State University, managing server installations, web server development, and a Linux cluster, and also held roles as Head of the scientific laboratory "Modern computer technologies" and Teaching Assistant. Additional experience includes positions as a visiting researcher at the University of Aizu, giving lectures on GPU programming and parallel programming languages, and a Sun Campus Ambassador for Sun Microsystems. Alexey holds a PhD in parallel computer technologies and an MS in Physics and computer sciences from Novosibirsk State University.
