Anbang Xu

Anbang Xu is a seasoned leader in machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at NVIDIA since November 2022, where innovations in enterprise solutions are advanced through technologies such as Agentic AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager of Machine Learning at NVIDIA, enhancing enterprise AI initiatives, and Data Science Manager at LinkedIn, where a new strategy for scalable ML platforms was established. Anbang's tenure at IBM Research, spanning roles from Data Science and Research Manager to Research Staff Member, involved managing teams to build AI models and comprehensive services, notably for Watson AIOps. Early career contributions include research roles at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and internships that involved developing predictive models and visual analytics systems. Anbang holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
