Assaf Hallak

Assaf Hallak is a Senior Researcher at NVIDIA since June 2020, with prior experience as a Senior Researcher at SAIPS from June 2018 to April 2020. Assaf completed a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where involvement included projects in Reinforcement Learning under Prof. Shie Mannor and roles as a Teaching Assistant for algorithms and data structures, as well as a Project Supervisor for a Kaggle healthcare challenge. Additional experience includes a Summer Research Intern position at Microsoft, focusing on Recommender Systems, data science internships at Check Point Software Technologies and Adobe, and a research role in the Israel Defense Forces from 2004 to 2008.
