Chen Chen

Chen Chen currently serves as the Director of System Software at NVIDIA, following the company's acquisition of DeepMap, where Chen has worked since April 2016 as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead, focusing on sensor fusion, computer vision, and graphics for autonomous driving systems. Prior to this role, Chen held several positions at Stanford University, including Research Assistant specializing in computational geometry and data mining of mobility data, and completed a Software Engineering Internship at Apple, where algorithm design was focused on improving Apple Maps. Additionally, an internship at Altera involved automating the simulation flow. Chen holds both a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
