Marcelo Orenes-Vera

Deep Learning Computer Architect

Marcelo Orenes-Vera is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Architecture at Princeton University, where their research focuses on software-hardware co-designs to enhance performance and energy efficiency in computing systems. Previously, Marcelo has contributed to the DARPA-funded DECADES project, participating in various aspects of chip design and optimization. They have held positions at companies such as NVIDIA as a Deep Learning Computer Architect and AMD as a Research and Development Intern, as well as founding a startup that developed a location-based platform for museums. Marcelo's experience includes significant contributions to GPU releases at Arm and a strong academic background in computer engineering.
