Rohit V.

Rohit V. is an experienced engineering leader at NVIDIA since March 2016, specializing in intelligent video analytics and deep learning applications. Rohit has led projects such as Project Tokkio related to smart retail and has significant expertise in architecture, design, metadata flow, and data pipelines, as well as GPU acceleration. Prior to NVIDIA, Rohit served as a Senior Linux Kernel Engineer at Qualcomm Innovation Center, contributing to the commercialization of the Snapdragon 810 and optimizations for various ARM processors. Rohit’s early career includes positions as a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, a Security Research Intern at Adobe, and an Associate System Engineer at IBM India. Rohit holds a Master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, complemented by participation in the Stanford GSB LEAD Business Program.
