Zsolt Haraszti

Zsolt Haraszti, PhD, is a seasoned professional in systems software engineering and technology leadership, currently serving as Principal Systems Software Engineer in AI Infrastructure at NVIDIA since February 2020. Prior to this role, Zsolt was the CTO and Founder of Cerra Inc., where a scalable, multi-cloud data science SaaS platform was developed. Zsolt held the CTO position at Ciena's Blue Planet Division, guiding technology direction following the acquisition of Cyan Inc., and previously served as CTO at Cyan, pioneering virtualization and orchestration initiatives. Zsolt's extensive experience includes leadership roles at OpenClovis, Ericsson, and Modular Networks, alongside his initial work as a research scientist and master thesis student. Zsolt is an alumnus of North Carolina State University, holding a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and also holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Budapest, Hungary.
