Jan de Blauwe

Jan De Blauwe is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in executive leadership. Currently serving as Managing Director and COO at NVISO Security since September 2021, Jan also holds the position of Chairman of the Belgian Cyber Security Coalition since January 2017. Prior to these roles, Jan was Committee Chair at Febelfin, overseeing cyber security coordination within the Belgian financial services sector from 2015 to 2021, and served as Head of Global Security and Chief Information Security Officer at BNP Paribas Fortis from June 2007 to September 2021. Jan’s earlier experience includes sales management at Ubizen and project management at Nokia Bell Labs, complemented by a solid academic background in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration, including a Ph.D. from KU Leuven and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
