Biren Shah

Biren Shah has over 25 years of work experience in the technology industry. Biren started their career in 1995 as a Developer for Tata Consultancy Services. In 1997, they took on the role of Tech Lead for Xerox, where they were responsible for the requirements-to-delivery of an application to the client. Biren then moved on to Citibank in 1999 as a Developer. That same year, they joined Thoughtworks as a Senior Consultant, where they developed J2EE based back-office leasing product deployed on Weblogic. In 2003, they became a Solutions Architect for ATG, where they pre-sold/RFP Architect for various ATG clients and led various development efforts for eCommerce implementation and integration. In 2005, Biren Shah founded Nvizion Solutions as President, where they lead setup of corporate strategy, alliances, organization capability, and technology enablement for practices like SAP hybris, oracle commerce (ATG/Endeca), and Informatica Product 360. In 2017, they co-founded N7 - The Nitrogen Platform, and also took on the role of VP Product & Engineering for UpStartCommerce Inc., where they were building an enterprise commerce platform of reactive headless micro-services and leveraging AI/ML powered personalizations engine to redefine customer, merchandiser, and service-agent experience across touch points.

Biren Shah completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from TSEC in 1995. Biren began their studies in 1991.
