Joan Ankner

Joan Ankner has extensive experience in community relations within the hospice sector, currently serving in a key role at NVNA and Hospice since September 2010. With a focus on the only nonprofit independent home health care agency covering Boston's South Shore, Joan plays a vital role in connecting communities to essential hospice services, a hospice residence, a private pay division, and a Cancer Support Community division. Prior to this, Joan worked as a Group Fitness Instructor and at the front desk of Scituate R from September 2005 to June 2011. Joan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Boston College, earned between 1972 and 1976.
