Charles Emerson

Charles Emerson has extensive experience in safety management, currently serving as the Director of Safety at NW Natural since September 2011, where prior roles included Senior Manager and Safety Programs Manager. Emerson's career in safety began at the American Red Cross from July 2001 to September 2011 as a Safety Officer and Divisional DOT Lead. In addition to practical experience, Emerson holds a Utility Management Certification from Willamette University, obtained in 2018, and completed undergraduate studies at the University of Alaska Anchorage from 1991 to 1996.
