Ian Maarefi

Ian Maarefi is a seasoned professional in account management and energy solutions, currently serving as a Key Account Manager and CNG Program Manager at NW Natural since July 2021. In this role, Ian is responsible for maintaining and cultivating relationships with large commercial and industrial customers in Oregon and SW Washington. Additionally, Ian is a board member of both the NW Alliance for Clean Transportation and the Oregon Association of Professional Energy Managers. Ian previously held positions such as Regional Sales Manager at Leviton, where expertise in energy information solutions was leveraged to support sales representatives, and Project Specialist at Schneider Electric, managing distributor-led projects in New England. Ian's early career included impactful roles at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, focusing on territory development and retail success. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oregon State University and previously studied Business Administration and Management at Portland State University.
