Margie Humphrey

Margie Humphrey, CPA has over 30 years of work experience in various accounting and finance roles. Margie began their career at Arthur Andersen as an Experienced Audit Senior, where they worked for three years. After that, they served as the Controller at Portland Camp Fire for two years. Margie then joined Intel Corporation, where they held multiple positions including Senior Internal Auditor, SAP Project Analyst, General Accounting Manager, and Accounting Policy Manager. During their time at Intel, they were responsible for providing accounting guidance, managing staff, establishing relationships with internal partners, and supporting acquisitions. Margie also worked as an Independent Contractor for a year, before joining PacifiCorp as an Internal Audit Manager. In this role, they managed a team and executed various audits. Later, Margie returned to Intel Corporation as a Sarbanes Oxley Manager, where they supported finance areas with SOX compliance execution. Margie'smost recent position was at NW Natural, where they served as the Director of Internal Audit. In this role, they reported directly to the Board's Audit Committee and the CEO, and worked closely with the CFO, Controller, and Chief Compliance Officer. Margie has a strong background in accounting, internal audit, and compliance, and has demonstrated leadership in various areas throughout their career.

Margie Humphrey, CPA, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. In 1990, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Oregon State Board of Accountancy. Additionally, in 2012, Margie obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Intel Corporation.
