Robert Oakes

Robert (Bob) Oakes has extensive experience in construction management and inspection, with a career spanning several decades in the welding and pipeline industries. Currently serving as a Construction Manager/Inspector and QA/QC-Safety Inspector at NW Natural since June 2018, Robert previously held positions such as Chief Inspector at Plains All American Pipeline and Welding Foreman at Doty Bros. and Plains. With a strong background in overseeing complex pipeline projects, including mechanical piping and large oil stock tank constructions, Robert has also garnered expertise in welding inspection and project supervision from various leading companies in the energy sector. In addition to hands-on experience, Robert holds NACE Level I and CPWI certifications and is a graduate of Maricopa High School.
