Skip Philips

Skip Philips has a extensive work experience in various leadership positions primarily in the healthcare industry. Skip most recently worked as the Chief Executive Officer at NW Works since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Sr Vice President of Valley Health/President of Winchester Medical Center from 2013 to 2022. Skip has also held executive roles at LifePoint Hospitals - Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County, Houston Healthcare, Houston Medical Center, Riverside Regional Medical Center, Riverside Health System/Continuing Care, Riverside Health System/Riverside Long Term Care, Riverside Health System/Riverside Walter Reed Hospital, and Riverside Health System/Riverside Rehabilitation Institute. These roles involved responsibilities such as overseeing operations, strategic focus, and financial management, as well as building relationships with physicians, the community, and the board of directors.

Additionally, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health Care Administration from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business between 1985 and 1987. Finally, they completed their academic journey at Georgia State University from 1985 to 1988, earning a Master of Health Care Administration (MHA) degree.
