Josh Steele

Josh Steele has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing engineering field. Josh started their career at Washington State University as a Research Assistant, where they conducted investigations on the effect of fuel type and size on wood gasification stoves. Josh also redesigned the test apparatus to improve emissions data resolution and determined thermal efficiencies and hazardous gas emissions.

After that, Josh joined TECT Aerospace as a Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for new product integration, optimizing existing methods, and providing daily manufacturing support. Josh collaborated with senior machinists, assembly mechanics, and CAD programmers to create manufacturing methods. Josh also improved existing manufacturing processes using new technologies while ensuring functionality and reliability. Additionally, they worked as an Engineering Intern, where they estimated the cost of manufacturing and assembling aerospace parts. Josh determined raw material requirements and extracted necessary processing requirements from customer-supplied documents.

Currently, Josh is working at Boeing as a Manufacturing Engineer. Their role focuses on the final body join of the KC-46 & 767 aircraft. Further details about their responsibilities and accomplishments in this position are not provided.

Josh Steele attended Santa Clara University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History. Josh later pursued further education at Washington State University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering between 2013 and 2015.
