Katie Langdon

Associate Scientist - Environmental Assessment at NWMO

Katie Langdon has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Their most recent role is as an Assistant Scientist - Environmental Assessment at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, where they started in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Environmental Technician at the same organization from May to August 2021. From September 2020 to April 2021, they were a Research Analyst at Transport Canada - Transports Canada. In 2019, they worked as a Research Technician at Fisheries and Oceans Canada for the months of May to August. In 2018, they were a Field Service Technician at Envirosystems Incorporated from May to September. Katie also has experience outside the science field, as they worked as a Summer Camp Leader at the University of Victoria in July and August 2017. Katie started their professional journey as a Prime Shock Operator at Tenneco in May and July 2016.

Katie Langdon pursued their education from 2015 to 2021 at the University of Victoria. During this time, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a major in Biology and Environmental Studies.
