Marie Kiluu-Ngila

Marie Kiluu-Ngila has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Marie currently works as a Legal Counsel at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, Marie worked as an Associate Lawyer at Pape Salter Teillet LLP from July 2022 to April 2023. Marie also served as a Corporate Lawyer at Aust Legal Inc. from November 2020 to July 2022.

Marie gained valuable experience in the legal field by working as an Articling Student at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP from August 2019 to June 2020 and as a Summer Law Student at the same company from May 2018 to August 2018. Before pursuing a career in law, Marie worked as an intern at Flemingdon Community Legal Services through Pro Bono Students Canada from October 2016 to April 2017.

In addition to their legal roles, Marie worked as a Teacher at Scholars 101 Education Group from June 2015 to January 2016, where they honed their communication and instructional skills. Marie also worked as a Dispatcher at Hallcon Corporation from September 2014 to April 2015, where they developed organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Marie Kiluu-Ngila completed their Bachelor's degree at the University of Toronto from 2010 to 2014. Marie'sfield of study included Political Science, History, and Gender Studies. In 2018, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at The University of Hong Kong for a year. From 2016 to 2019, Marie attended the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. In June 2020, they obtained their Ontario Bar certification from the Law Society of Ontario.
