Sara Dolatshahi, P.Eng., M.Eng., has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Sara currently serves as the Director of Strategic Projects at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. Prior to this role, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at Impetus Capital Corp., where they successfully generated significant revenue through cost minimization and market analysis. Additionally, Sara has operated their own consulting firm, Sara Dolatshahi Consulting, and served as the President.

Sara has also held various positions at Ontario Power Generation (OPG). Sara began their career at OPG in 1999 as a Regulatory Affairs Analyst, where they championed the implementation of new nuclear safety regulations. Sara later served as a Nuclear Safety Engineer, ensuring the establishment of safe operating parameters at the Pickering 5-8 Station. Sara also led the Feeder Integrity Project at OPG, coordinating efforts to address flow accelerated corrosion.

Throughout their career, Sara has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to innovation. Sara has led cross-functional teams, implemented process improvements, and developed strategic alliances. Notably, they achieved industry recognition for innovation and operations training during their tenure as the Operations Training Manager at OPG. Sara's experience also includes roles as a Shift Manager, Control Room Shift Supervisor, and Shift Technical Advisor, where they were responsible for the safe and reliable operation of nuclear reactors. Overall, Sara Dolatshahi's work experience showcases their expertise in strategic planning, project management, and nuclear industry operations.

Sara Dolatshahi, P.Eng., M.Eng., completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Chemical Engineering at McMaster University from 1995 to 1999. Sara then pursued a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering at McMaster University from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their education, they obtained certifications as a Licensed Shift Manager and a Licensed control room shift supervisor from the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission - Commission canadienne de sûreté nucléaire in December 2014 and March 2013, respectively.
