Maria Cruz is a Programme Leader at NWO, where Maria also serves as the Chair of the Science Europe Working Group on Open Science. Previously, Maria held positions at VU Amsterdam, Delft University of Technology, and Elsevier. With a background in astrophysics, Maria has a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford, a Marie Curie Pre-doctoral Fellowship from Leiden University, and has conducted research at the University of California, Berkeley.
