Ben Yorker

Development Partner at Northwood Ravin

Since joining Northwood Ravin in late 2012, Ben Yorker has primarily focused on Northwood’s deep-south markets, including Atlanta, Dallas, and South Florida. His professional real estate experience spans over 20 years. In this time, he has led development in a variety of southeastern markets including Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Durham, Hampton, Miami, Raleigh, and Williamsburg. He has successfully delivered more than 3,000 residential units, 200,000 SF of retail, and 300,000 SF of office. Yorker’s current pipeline includes a 370-unit mixed-use project in Decatur, GA; a 170-unit, grocery-anchored, mixed-use project in downtown Athens, GA; a 250-unit, grocery-anchored, mixed-use project in Midtown Atlanta; and a 70-acre mixed-use project in Charlotte. Prior to joining Ravin, Yorker was a multi-family developer with Roseland Property Company and then with Boylan Development Company. Ben earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He is a Board member with the Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District in Atlanta, GA, and he is a former Executive Board member for the North Carolina chapter of the US Green Building Council.
