Karen Ngai

Karen Ngai is an experienced professional in the field of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), currently serving as the Head of Group ESG at NWS Holdings Limited since January 2023. Prior to this role, Karen held positions as Senior Manager of ESG at Tricor Group and Manager of Corporate Sustainability at HSBC, gaining extensive experience in corporate sustainability over several years. Karen's career began with roles at Environment Canada and other research and academic positions, culminating in a Doctor of Public Administration focused on Circular Economy and Sustainable Development from The University of Hong Kong. Karen also holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from City University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo.
