Nicholas Geismar

Nicholas Geismar is a Software Engineer at National Write Your Congressman, Inc. since February 2022. Previously, Nicholas worked as a Software Developer at Cook'd, where Nicholas contributed to a React-native social media application by implementing a Heroku-deployed Postgres relational database to serve user information. In addition, Nicholas held a Software Developer position at Ramsey Chefs, developing an e-commerce website with login, signup, and shopping functionalities. Nicholas began a research volunteer role at Columbia University in the City of New York under Professor Chao Lu, focusing on chromatin organization within cancer development. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University at Albany and completed education at Fullstack Academy in 2020.
