Gerwin Schinkel

Gerwin Schinkel has a comprehensive work experience in the field of quality control and business excellence engineering. Gerwin currently serves as the QC Manager at NX Filtration since November 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked at Ausnutria as a Quality Control Team Lead from September 2020 to November 2022. Before that, they held the position of Business Excellence Engineer at Abbott from April 2019 to September 2020, and as a Quality Control Lead from September 2014 to April 2019. Gerwin also gained experience as a QC Coordinator at Schothorst Feed Research from January 2014 to August 2014. Furthermore, they worked as a Development Analyst at Abbott from January 2013 to December 2013 and as a Quality Assurance Inspector from 2011 to 2012. Earlier in their career, they were a Research and Development Technician at Elementis Specialties Netherlands B.V. from 2008 to 2011. Gerwin began their professional journey as a Quality Control Analyst at Abbott in 2003 and held the role until 2008.

Gerwin Schinkel obtained their Bachelor's degree in Technische Bedrijfskunde from Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2014. In 2019, they received a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Lean Six Sigma Partners. Before that, in 2018, they obtained a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from the same institution. In addition to their formal education, Gerwin Schinkel also received certifications from RapidMiner in RapidMiner Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and Applications & Use Cases in 2020. Prior to their university studies, they completed a course in Verftechnologie Bindmiddelen (CV1A) at Elsevier Opleidingen in 2008 and another course in Verftechnologie Pigmenten (CV1B) at Elsevier Education in 2009. Gerwin also pursued a course in Verftechnologie Formuleren (CV1C) from Elsevier Opleidingen in 2010. Gerwin Schinkel's educational journey began with their completion of MAVO at Jacobus College from 1994 to 1998. Gerwin then pursued a Vapro C/MBO Niveau IV degree in Laboratorium- en Procestechniek from ROC Oost Nederland, which they completed from 1998 to 2003.
