Charlotte Fieldhouse

Charlotte Fieldhouse is an accomplished medicinal chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Nxera Pharma since November 2016, where previous roles included Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist II. Prior to this position, Charlotte contributed as a Senior Scientist at Takeda from October 2008 to November 2016, leading CNS drug discovery projects and co-inventing key programs, including the Orexin 1 receptor antagonist. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Research Scientist at GSK, where Charlotte worked on target compound design within the neurosciences therapeutic area, and summer internships at AstraZeneca and Fine Organics Limited. Charlotte holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of York, completed in 2006.
