Lizzie Lovell

Lizzie Lovell is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and legal sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Legal Technical Operations at Nxera Pharma since April 2024, Lizzie previously held the position of Lead Counsel for Global Manufacturing and Supply and Quality at Takeda from August 2023 to March 2024. Prior to Takeda, Lizzie worked at Novartis from July 2016 to May 2023, where roles included Senior Legal Counsel for Group M&A and Senior Legal Counsel for Technical Operations Transactions. Lizzie's career began at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where contributions were made as an Associate in the Intellectual Property and Corporate Practice Group, and as a Trainee Solicitor in Corporate Private M&A and Private Equity. Lizzie's academic credentials include a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice from the University of Oxford, a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Manchester.
