Nigel Austin

Nigel Austin is an experienced professional in drug development and pharmacokinetics, currently serving as the Director and Head of Discovery DMPK & Analytical Sciences at Nxera Pharma since April 2024. Prior to this role, Nigel held the position of Director DMPK at SoseiHeptares from February 2018 and served as Scientific Director at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson from June 2012 to February 2018, focusing on early drug developability and translational sciences. Earlier in the career, Nigel worked as a Research Fellow in ADME-tox at Tibotec, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, from March 2009 to June 2012, and led a DMPK team at GlaxoSmithKline from May 2002 to January 2009, specializing in drug discovery for schizophrenia.
