Charles Dachs

Charles Dachs is executive vice president and general manager of Secure Connected Edge for NXP Semiconductors. In this role, he is responsible for driving leadership for edge processing in industrial and IoT markets. Charles also oversees the solutions that drive the security and connectivity ecosystems. These solutions include devices enabled with Bluetooth, NFC, UHF, UWB and Wi-Fi, as well as secure products for payment, ID, transit and secure services for IoT.

Charles has worked on advanced and emerging technologies for more than 25 years, starting at Philips Research in the Netherlands. He held various leadership positions in research and development, product management, marketing and general management (GM) at NXP and Philips. Most recently, Charles was GM of Industrial / IoT and Edge and prior to that GM of Secure Embedded Transactions (NFC and UWB).
