Manuel Alves

Manuel Alves is an accomplished professional in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as the Senior Vice President for Automotive Microcontrollers at NXP Semiconductors since December 2015, with responsibilities including General Manager of the Automotive Microcontrollers product line and serving on the advisory boards of Electronica and Munich Quantum Valley. Prior to this role, Manuel held various positions at Freescale Halbleiter GmbH from August 2004 to December 2015, including Senior Product Line Manager and Product Line Manager, where responsibilities encompassed product marketing and systems engineering. Additionally, Manuel gained experience as a Field Application Engineer at Motorola Solutions from October 1999 to July 2004, providing technical support in pre and post sales scenarios. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in EE/Microelectronics/Embedded Systems from the Technical University of Munich and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Microelectronics from Polytech Nice Sophia.
