Pete Roossien

Pete Roossien is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in litigation and risk management. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Litigation Officer at NXP Semiconductors since September 2005, Roossien oversees all litigation and major disputes involving the company, including matters related to intellectual property, commercial issues, labor, tax, securities, and environmental regulations. Prior to this role, Roossien spent a decade at Freescale Semiconductor, Inc., as Chief Risk Management and Litigation Officer, where responsibilities included litigation management and corporate liability reporting. Earlier in the career, Roossien worked as a Partner at Brown McCarroll LLP, and as a Litigation Associate at both Thompson & Knight LLP and Cooper & Scully, P.C. Roossien holds a Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law and an undergraduate degree from Calvin University.
