Rob Frijns has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, having held various leadership roles at NXP Semiconductors since May 2007, including Head of the CTO Office and CTO Chief of Staff, as well as General Manager of the Integrated Technology Platform. Earlier positions included Vice President & Program Manager for the 40nm platform and Manager of Central R&D Foundation Technology/ Design Platforms. Prior to their tenure at NXP, Rob Frijns was R&D Manager for the Crolles2 Alliance from January 2001 to December 2007 and Development Manager at Philips Semiconductors from 1998 to 2000. Rob Frijns earned a degree in Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology between 1982 and 1988.
