Kal Kilgast

Kal manages sponsor coverage for NXT Capital. His team is responsible for originating, structuring, underwriting and closing new transactions, and for day-to-day monitoring of their originated loan portfolio. In addition, Kal and his team maintain relationships with private equity sponsors located in the U.S. Kal is also involved in the strategic planning and broader marketing efforts of the Direct Lending Group.

Kal brings over 20 years of corporate finance, lending and private equity experience to NXT Capital. Prior to joining NXT, Kal was a Director at Merrill Lynch Capital, where he originated, underwrote and managed cash flow and asset-based financings for clients in the West and Midwest regions.
