Baris Gultekin

Baris Gultekin has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. Baris is currently the Cofounder & CEO of nxyz, a company that provides fast and reliable access to indexed Blockchain data. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director of Product Management for Google Assistant, where they led the teams on Android and grew the product from 10M to 500M monthly users. Baris also has experience as a co-founder and CEO of SORU and as a co-founder and product lead of Google Now, an intelligent assistant on Android. During their time at Google, they also served as a Group Product Manager for AdWords and received several awards for their achievements. Baris began their career as a Wireless Engineer at Texas Instruments.

Baris Gultekin pursued their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Boğaziçi University from 1995 to 2000. Following this, they enrolled in Cornell University from 2000 to 2001, where they completed a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering. Later, Baris attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2004 to 2006, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree.
