Aku Väliaho

Aku Väliaho has a diverse range of work experience, beginning in 2007 as a Finance Trainee at Rautaruukki Oyj. Aku then went on to work as a Fund Administrator at Handelsbanken Mutual Fund Company Ltd and OP Fund Management Company Ltd. In 2012, they joined Oriola-KD Corporation as an Assistant Treasurer. Aku then transitioned to Finnair in 2015, where they held various roles including Manager and later Head of Treasury Operations, Executive Director of Pension Fund, and Head of Real Estate. In 2022, Aku became the Group CFO at NYAB, where they oversee finance, strategy, M&A, and group administration activities.

Aku Väliaho completed their M.Sc. (Econ. & Bus. Adm.) in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from LUT University in 2011. Aku also attended Hanken & SSE Executive Education in 2014. In addition, they studied at The University of Nottingham in 2008.
