Magnus Bergqvist

Magnus Bergqvist is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Energy Solutions at NYAB since February 2025, leading projects in engineering, procurement, and construction with a turnover of approximately 300 MEUR. Previously, Bergqvist held multiple roles at Svea Solar from March 2020 to January 2025, including Head of Sales and Procurement, overseeing significant sales and procurement initiatives in the utility business. Prior experience includes strategic roles at Ørsted, focusing on offshore wind projects and corporate venture capital, as well as business development positions at Vattenfall and Tekniska verken. Bergqvist holds two master's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management, along with a bachelor's degree in Environmental and Energy Engineering and Management from Linköping University, and has gained international experience through studies in Switzerland and Australia.
