Elikem Tamaklo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Elikem has been a Member of YPO since October 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Director of Nyaho Medical Centre starting from April 2015. From August 2016 to September 2018, they served as the Ghana Chapter President of Stanford Seed Transformation Network. Additionally, they worked as a Non-Executive Director at Private Clinics Limited from February 2012 to March 2015. Elikem also has medical experience, having worked as an A&E Doctor and an Academic Foundation Year 2 Doctor at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital NHS Trust from August 2011 to August 2014, and from August 2010 to August 2011 respectively. Elikem served as the Male Development Coordinator at Pure Creative Arts from August 2011 to March 2014. Lastly, Elikem worked as a Foundation Year 1 Doctor at Mid-Cheshire NHS Trust from August 2009 to August 2010.
Elikem Tamaklo completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree from St George's, University of London from 2004 to 2009. In 2013, they obtained a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Elikem also earned a Master Certificate in Healthcare Leadership from Cornell University in 2013-2014. Additionally, they completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Clinical Practice from Edge Hill University in 2011-2012, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Pastoral Leadership from Liverpool Hope University during the same time period. Furthermore, they attended executive education programs at the London Business School and Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2018 and 2016, respectively.
