Ani Avakyan

Ani Avakyan is an accomplished designer with extensive experience in women's contemporary, missy, and plus womenswear. Currently serving as a Senior Designer at NYC Alliance since March 2021, Ani previously held positions as a Designer at Kellwood Company and as an Assistant Designer at Komarov Inc. Notable contributions include acting as a cross-functional leader collaborating with production, merchandising, and sales teams. Earlier in their career, Ani worked as a Senior Social Media Manager for Luxe Group, where responsibilities included developing social media strategies for a high-end salon, and as an Assistant Designer at Rory Beca, contributing to design and development for major retailers like Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters. Ani holds a design internship and studied at Pasadena City College.
