Tarek Pertew

Tarek Pertew is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the sports and technology sectors. As Co-Founder and CEO of NYC Footy since October 2010, Tarek has developed the nation's largest amateur soccer league, collaborating with partners including NYCFC and Gotham FC. Tarek also founded BetterPlayer in December 2021, which democratizes expert coaching access, and co-founded Paloma Sport in March 2024, focusing on innovative sportswear. Tarek serves as an advisor at SkillCycle and has held leadership roles at Uncubed, where Tarek was CEO, and Recruiter.com, where Tarek acted as a strategic consultant. Tarek's previous experience includes board membership at Street Child United USA and advisory roles at the University of Virginia and UK Trade & Investment. Tarek holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, and Management from the University of Virginia.
