Omar Fattal M.D.

Omar Fattal MD, MPH serves as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer and System Chief of Behavioral Health at NYC Health + Hospitals since May 2020 and concurrently holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Previously, Omar Fattal held various leadership roles at Bellevue Hospital Center from July 2010 to April 2020, including Assistant Chief for Quality in the Department of Psychiatry and Associate Director of Inpatient Psychiatry. With a background in psychiatry, Omar has also worked in private practice and completed a Public Psychiatry Fellowship at NYU Langone Health. Omar Fattal's education includes an MPH and MD from the American University of Beirut, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the same institution.
