Sewit Teckie

Sewit Teckie, MD, MBA, currently serves as System Chief for Clinical Affairs, Oncology, and Radiation Oncology at NYC Health + Hospitals, a position held since February 2022. Concurrently, Sewit Teckie is a Clinical Associate Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and a Board Member at the Children's Museum of Manhattan. Previous experience includes roles as Associate Professor and Attending Physician in Radiation Medicine at Northwell Health and Resident Physician, including Chief Resident in Radiation Oncology, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Sewit Teckie earned a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School, an MBA with Dean’s Honors from Columbia Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University.
