Mark Maslar

Mark Maslar is a versatile professional with extensive experience in writing, acting, and education. Currently serving as a Writing Judge for NYC Midnight and Seattle Film Race since August 2022, Mark has reviewed over 700 submissions and provided guidance to more than 500 writers. In addition, Mark works as a writer on Fiverr, collaborating with clients to develop scripts and educational materials. Acting experience spans roles in film, theater, and television across Hawaii and California, while prior positions include a Marketing Intern at GESGRP, a Demo Guide at Polynesian Cultural Center, and various roles at Brigham Young University - Hawaii, including Teaching Assistant and Media Production Specialist. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphases in Education, Theatre, and English from Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
